Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provides a mixed experience. While the rooms have a lingering smell of breakfast due to leftover crockery and cutlery, the availability of Nespresso pods is a nice touch. The cabins for guests are not suitable for all, but the service is efficient and friendly. The location is excellent for events but lacks nearby activities. Despite the decent dining options, there are some service gaps like not offering coffee proactively or clearing plates without request.
The hotel's location, set amidst a calming brook and a lovely pond, enhances the superb service provided by the genuinely friendly staff. The rooms, although compact, are complemented by the offer of lifts to and from the reception and restaurant. A great choice for those seeking a peaceful countryside retreat just outside Tewin village.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were modern and clean, but unfortunately, they were quite draughty and noisy. The service was excellent, especially before the wedding, with extremely polite and helpful staff. The location, although lovely and perfect for the festivities, was a bit out of the way. The dining experience was good, but there were some noise issues from the kitchen. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
